My research interest includes humanistic to social scientific inquiries with a focus on revealing the nuances of culture, media, and public discourses in shaping public opinion, stereotypes, identities, or inequities in the global and digital era. My research often involves intercultural or cross-cultural dynamics associated with contemporary Chinese sociopolitical context.
I am an award-winning researcher whose work has been recognized by the National Communication Association (NCA) and the International Communication Association (ICA). In the past decade, I have taught students and audiences across Chinese and American universities, organizations, and even via national TV studios.
